Darien Chismar, MSIOP is the Director of Assessment Services, where he leads the design, interpretation, and application of assessment data to support leadership effectiveness, team performance, and sound decision-making. With deep experience translating data into insight, he helps organizations use assessment information in ways that are practical, meaningful, and actionable.
My Story
Darien’s work sits at the intersection of data, people, and performance. With nearly seven years of experience working with assessments and applied data, he has developed a strong ability to turn complex information into insight leaders and teams can actually use.

Before entering consulting, Darien built his foundation in leadership and group dynamics through roles that emphasized responsibility, collaboration, and mentorship. These early experiences shaped his interest in how individuals function within systems—and how structure, feedback, and incentives influence behavior over time.

At Apidae Consulting, Darien leads assessment-related work across a range of engagements, supporting leadership assessment, team effectiveness, and rewards and recognition design. He brings a thoughtful, analytical lens to understanding how data can inform development without losing sight of the human context behind the numbers.

In addition to his consulting work, Darien has contributed to the Organizational Sherlocks podcast, collaborating with colleagues and guests to explore practical, evidence-informed approaches to organizational challenges.
